Linda Joan Echelbarger

Linda Joan Echelbarger, 73, Greentown, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at her home. She was born November 1, 1950, in Marion, IN, to William Monroe and Audra (Sprong) Ogle. On July 6, 1969, she married John Echelbarger, and he survives.

Linda worked for Purdue Extension as a nutritionist for 20 years. She attended Crossroads Community Church and served in several areas. She also served on the board of directors for Nesting Doves in Kokomo and helped found the daycare at Greentown Wesleyan Church. Linda was a proud farmers wife and enjoyed helping her family for many years on their farm. She enjoyed reading, cooking, sitting on the front porch with her husband, vacationing with family and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. Family was her top priority and she loved spending time with and caring for them.

She is survived by her husband, John Echelbarger; children, Michelle (Tony) Porter, Todd (Heather) Echelbarger, and Dustin (LeeAnn) Echelbarger; grandchildren, Will (Tessa) Porter, Wesley (JayCee) Porter, Jayden Echelbarger, Clayton Echelbarger, and Addison Echelbarger; great-grandchildren, Jules Porter and Rhodes Porter; special nephews, Rob Nulf and Brian (Christie) Nulf; and as well as special nieces, Edna Spain, Cathy Lear, Linda Lear.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Wilda Hawk, Charlotte Nulf, and Jan Lear.

Services celebrating Linda’s life will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Crossroads Community Church, 4254 S 00 EW, Kokomo with pastor Jeff Harlow officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s name to Celebrate Recovery through Crossroads Church. Stephanie Dawn Gragg

Stephanie Dawn Gragg, 43, of Kokomo, passed away at 6:12 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Edgewater Woods, in Anderson. She was born August 30, 1980, in Kokomo, to Oliver L. and Pamela J. (Hudson) Sprinkle. On February 18, 2002, she married Nicholas A. Gragg, in Kokomo, and he survives.

Stephanie attended Taylor High School and Kokomo High School. She worked as a manager at Powerhouse Gym where she ran the daycare. Stephanie was a devoted mother and loved caring for her children. She enjoyed her home and being with her family and loved her dog, Tucker.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Liberty Gragg; parents, Oliver and Pamela Sprinkle; father- and mother-in-law, Stephen and Martha Gragg; siblings, Lori Stout and John (Jessie) Sprinkle; brother-in-law, Mike Schafer; sister-in-law, Stevie Ripberger; nephews, Garret Stout, Wyatt Stout, Rory Sprinkle, and Elton Sprinkle; and many children she loved as adopted nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Savannah R. Gragg; sister-in-law, Kathryn Rose Gragg Schafer; and brother-in-law, Reggie Stout.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Darlton Bontrager officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Thomas Lowell Evans Jr.

Thomas Lowell Evans Jr., 60 years old, of Camden, passed away 3:00 Tuesday February 13, 2024, at his home. He was born in Noblesville, IN, on November 5, 1963, the son of Thomas Lowell Evans Sr. and Cleve (Webb) Evans. Tommy was married to Lesia (Barnes) Jackson for 30 years and they raised three children together.

Tommy was a 1982 graduate of Carroll High School. After graduating, he worked his entire life as a farmer. Tommy was passionate about music, playing the guitar, singing, and making up his own lyrics to songs. He enjoyed reading books and was the king of jeopardy. He had an amazing sense of humor, and he had a strong presence whenever you entered the same room as him.

He is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Andrew) Langston, Ian Evans, Katherine (Bryan) Stephens; father, Tom Evans Sr.; siblings, Teryl Miller, Mindy Rodgers; grandchildren, Isaac Langston, Evan Langston, Oliver Evans, Tommy Owyn McDonald, Harrison Stephens; great-grandchild, Sage Langston; mother of their children, Lisa Jackson; and best friend, Andy Wyant.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cleve Evans; and brother, Shannon Evans.

In honor of Tommy’s wishes, there are no services scheduled. Stout & Son Funeral Home – Burlington Chapel has been entrusted with cremation.
