The plot was original and I really enjoyed the whole lost twin concept. And anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for multi-POV books. Both authors added so many beautiful tropes like enemies-to-lovers, forbidden love, royalty and witches.

I am very happy that I finally dove into this series and crushed it. I was a little annoyed that Wren picked Tor in the end, but whatever, I hope they are happy.

The first book, releasing in spring 2025, will be written by Webber and the second book, releasing in spring 2026, is written by Doyle, with both authors collaborating creatively in the campaigns and on the promotion of both books.

Overall, though, Twin Crowns is a well-written clean young adult book full of fun moments and snappy dialogue, which makes it a delightful escapist read. Rated: Mild, for around 5 uses of mild language and one use of moderate language. A character gives someone the middle finger.
