This error usually occurs when there’s a problem with permissions. Here are a few possible fixes:
Disable Antivirus Software: Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with the installation process. Try disabling your antivirus software temporarily and see if that fixes the issue.
Check Disk Permissions: Make sure that your user account has the necessary permissions to write to the disk where you’re trying to install the software. You may need to log in as an administrator to change these permissions.
Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot to remove any software conflicts. To do this, type “msconfig” in the search bar and press Enter. In the System Configuration window, click on the “Services” tab, check the “Hide all Microsoft services” box, and then click “Disable all”. Then click on the “Startup” tab, then “Open Task Manager”. In Task Manager, disable all startup items. Then restart your computer.
