With more than 132,000 members, Florida Farm Bureau is our state’s largest agricultural organization. Sixty county Farm Bureaus constitute the grassroots structure of our organization. We represent farm families who produce all 300 of the state’s agricultural commodities, regardless of their scope of operations or location.

The vision of Florida Farm Bureau is to be “The Voice of Florida Agriculture.”
Our policy positions reflect the values and opinions shared by most Floridians. We support creating opportunities for private enterprise, limited government and incentive-based regulatory standards. Florida Farm Bureau also upholds a commitment to traditional family life and volunteer community service.

Organized in 1941, it represents all facets of agriculture in the state. Serving more than 143,500 members statewide, its mission is to increase the net income of farmers and ranchers and to improve the quality of rural life.
The Florida Farm Bureau Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company. Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company began 50 years ago with a group of Farm Bureau leaders, who shared a vision for better member service and lower insurance rates.
Florida Farm Bureau (FLFB) is an adequate insurance company — it has good customer service, is financially stable and offers must-have insurance coverages for auto and home. However, it offers few optional coverages or benefits, such as glass coverage for your car or guaranteed replacement cost coverage for your home.
As a member benefit, Florida Farm Bureau offers both its farmer and rancher and consumer members an array of insurance services through Florida Farm Bureau Insurance. Benefits include auto, flood, homeowners, life and crop protection.
The board would help farmers stabilize prices by buying and holding surplus grain and cotton in storage. The Farm Board was part of Herbert Hoover's response to the downward spiral of crop prices in the years leading up to the Great Depression.
